Your friends have been trapped in the mystical Carnivalé amusement park. It’s up to you to save them! You must race for their freedom across five wild levels. Beat a level and your friend goes free. Lose a race and your friend is captured again! Join Ginger, Eddy, Milly, Cenzo, Cat, and the rest in the eerie world of Carnivalé. Children playing by the sea shore are lured into a time travel portal where they are taken to an amusement park. There they are having loads of fun until they discover that if they don’t escape immediately, they will be forever trapped there as inanimate objects. This sets them in a frenzy to escape, which takes them through a ghost train and a terrifying freak show.

The game was based on the 2000 animated film Carnivalé, whic was directed by former Tim Burton art director Deane Taylor. The film featured voice acting by Helena Bonham Carter and Hugh Laurie in its English dub.
